Sporty Features on the 2017 Subaru WRX

2017 Subaru WRXThere are plenty of sporty features on the 2017 Subaru WRX, which is due to arrive in dealerships sometime this month. The WRX, which was just introduced for the first time in 2015 as a 2016 model, has seen a surprising number of updates for its second year.

The new WRX will have the same available Sport Lineartronic continuously variable transmission that will now be equipped with EyeSight Driver Assist features. This transmission option also enables SI-DRIVE, which allows for more responsive handling, and the Sport and Sport Sharp modes improve the performance of the manual transmission. Vehicle Dynamics Control and Active Torque Vectoring make turning corners more precise.

It will also come with standard 18-inch summer performance tires on two of its trim levels and an available rear trunk spoiler. The design of the front seats gets an update as well, making them sportier and more cockpit-like, with red stitching on leather trim, and the exterior will include standard LED headlights.

New vs. Used Cars

new vs. used carsWhen it comes to the new vs. used cars debate, neither one is inherently the better option. Which one you decide on depends totally on you, your wants and needs, and your budget.

New cars are great because they come with a sense of security. You don’t have to worry about seeing the Carfax report or how many miles are on the car. Plus, new cars have more recent features, so if you like having the latest tech, go with a new car. You also have more options for customizing new cars—you can add packages, pick the color you want, and so on.

On the other hand, used cars have the benefit of being just plain cheaper. Lower monthly payments, lower interest rates, and lower insurance just some of the benefits of buying used—and it’s not like a car that’s a couple years old will be completely out of date feature-wise. And if you’re on a tight budget, buying a used car offers you a lot more variety. You may be able to get a higher quality car than you could afford if you only looked at inexpensive new cars.

Whatever you choose, there are plenty of options for you at Steve Lewis Subaru!
