It’s that time of year again: the leaves are changing and the air is getting cooler. While you enjoy the seasons changing, you should take into account these fall service tips for your car.
Is your heat working properly? How about your defroster? We all know that fall in Massachusetts could occasionally mean temperatures in the forties or even thirties, so you will want to make sure your heat is working so it can warm you up! It’s also important to make sure your HVAC system is defrosting properly, otherwise you might be staring out a frosty windshield!
Make sure your battery has enough power before the cold weather hits it by checking its charge. You can do this with a voltmeter or get it checked at our service department. You will also want to make sure that all of your connections are clean that they’re securely fastened to your battery.
Your tire pressure is ever-changing, mostly because the weather outside is ever-changing. Heat can expand the air in your tires, which increases their pressure, and the cold can have the opposite effect. Make sure all your tires have proper PSI so they can keep you rolling!
