The McCray family has been creating a haunted Halloween experience with Fear on the Farm since 1990. With more than 25 years in the scaring business, the family haunting has come to include numerous scares only found on the farmland. If you’re looking for a real thrill this Halloween, Fear On the Farm is the place to be!
“We’ve been offering our haunted hayride for 25 years since Dan Augusto of Holyoke brought the idea to my grandfather Don McCray, who agreed to let him give it a try on our farmlands,” said Doug McCray, head of the farmland.
Take a haunted hayride through McCray’s farm for a Halloween experience you won’t soon forget. Featuring more than 100 actors, many of whom continue to return year after year, the hayride will give visitors a real fright. Zombies, a clown tunnel, and a pig family are just a few of the scenes designed to scare.
McCray’s farm features food stands, the farm’s very own creamery, and miniature golf to keep visitors entertained. Adult hayrides begin at 7 p.m., and the kid’s hayride runs between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The Munchkin Mash creates a not-so-frightening experience for kids under seven years old too. With a theme of “Nightmare Before Christmas,” this year is the perfect year to pay a visit to McCray’s farm!
